The Group participated in a reception at the French Embassy in Baghdad on 14 July, on the occasion of the French national holiday.

This diplomatic initiative honoured the French companies participating in the reconstruction of the country in the presence of a dozen Iraqi officials (for the most part stakeholders on the electrical energy markets) and guests for the occasion, in the presence of our new Ambassador, Mr. Bruno Aubert and the Iraqi Minister of Culture, Mr Feryad Rawenduzi.

The reception was particularly appreciated by the Iraqi guests, stressing their friendship with the France.

For the companies present, this was the opportunity to benefit from good visibility with the media, officials and potential national purchasers.

On the other hand, the presence of the French companies confirmed their commitment and willingness to strengthen privileged links with Iraq, which is a good omen for future developments in this key country in the Middle East.
